Justin Gilpin is the CEO of Kansas Wheat, representing the Kansas Wheat Commission and Kansas Association of Wheat Growers since 2009. He oversees the promotion and market expansion of Kansas wheat, advocating for Kansas wheat farmers, and advancing wheat innovation at the Kansas Wheat Innovation Center in Manhattan, KS. Gilpin serves on USW committees and the Wheat Quality Council. A Kansas State University alum, Gilpin earned a bachelor’s degree in Milling Science from Kansas State University (KSU) and currently serves in an adjunct faculty position in the KSU Department of Grain Science and Industry. Before leading Kansas Wheat, he held various roles in the wheat industry, including wheat procurement for General Mills at the Kansas City Board of Trade.
