Tyler “TJ” Hansell

Tyler “TJ” Hansell is a fifth-generation farmer who lives with his wife Sally and their children in Hermiston, OR. He and his brothers farm both irrigated and dryland areas in northeastern Oregon. In addition to wheat, they grow several crops in rotation including alfalfa, garbanzo beans, barley, grass seed, lima beans, and corn. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Washington State University. Hansell was appointed to the Oregon Wheat Commission (OWC) in 2021 and currently serves as its Vice-Chair.
