Peter Laudeman

Peter Laudeman is the USW director of policy where he is responsible for issues including biotechnology, plant breeding innovation and food aid issues that impact the export of wheat. Peter works with the VP of trade policy to develop an annual trade strategy and maintains relationships with the U.S. government and other key stakeholders critical to resolving wheat export barriers. Previously, Peter worked for Corteva Agriscience on the North American Government and Industry Affairs Team as the political affairs manager. Prior to Corteva, he worked on the public policy team for the National Corn Growers Association. Originally from Sherman, Illinois, Peter earned a bachelor’s degree in agricultural and consumer economics from the University of Illinois.
