Chan-Hyun Yang is the Senior Vice President at Pan Ocean Co. Ltd, based in Seoul, Korea. He’s been with the company since 1996, gaining over 28 years of experience in dry bulk shipping. In 2007, he shifted to Shanghai, China, managing iron ore contracts with local steel mills and soybean importers such as COFCO, Chinatex and so on. After returning to Seoul, he managed US wheat transport to Asia. In 2019, he relocated to New Jersey to lead Pan Ocean America, becoming a pioneer in grain trading. From 2022, he has been in charge of the Bulk 1 Sales Division, from handy to ultramax size.
